Fort Worth, TX – The National Weather Service in Fort Worth says Thanksgiving Day will bring sunny, cool, and dry conditions across North and Central Texas, making for near-perfect weather for outdoor gatherings and travel.

Highs on Thursday will reach the low 60s in the Dallas–Fort Worth area and the mid-60s to near 70° around Waco and Killeen, with morning lows in the upper 30s to 40s.

The pleasant stretch of weather will continue through Friday, though clouds are expected to increase late in the week. Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms could develop Saturday into Sunday as moisture returns to the region.

For those tracking weather trends, Thanksgiving averages around 63°F in DFW and 64°F in Waco — right in line with this year’s forecast.
