Fond du Lac County, WI – A Sunday afternoon structure fire in the Town of Taycheedah led to significant property damage after a pole shed caught fire, prompting a multi-agency emergency response.
According to the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred at approximately 4:28 p.m. Sunday, April 26, when deputies and the Mt. Calvary Fire Department were dispatched to Laurel Lane for reports of a 30-by-40-foot pole shed on fire. Upon arrival, crews observed heavy smoke and flames coming from inside the structure.
Firefighters acted quickly to contain the blaze, preventing it from spreading beyond the shed. While much of the structure was able to be saved, several items inside were destroyed. Authorities reported that multiple trailers and pieces of equipment—including a boat and a lawn mower—were damaged in the fire.
No injuries were reported in connection with the incident.
According to fire officials, the Mt. Calvary Fire Department remains on scene investigating the cause of the fire. No official determination has been released as of Sunday evening.
