Fond du Lac County, WI – A 57-year-old woman was revived after being found not breathing following a rollover crash Monday morning on US Highway 45, prompting a multi-agency emergency response.

According to the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened around 10:48 a.m. in the Township of Osceola near N3357 US 45. Dispatchers received multiple 911 calls reporting a single-vehicle rollover, with initial reports indicating the driver was trapped and unresponsive.

Deputies, along with Eden Fire Department and Campbellsport Ambulance, arrived to find the driver not breathing. A deputy began CPR, assisted by another deputy and bystanders, until the woman regained a pulse. Emergency crews then transferred care to paramedics on scene.

Investigators say the woman, a Kewaskum resident and the sole occupant, was traveling southbound when her vehicle left the roadway, struck a driveway embankment, and overturned. Authorities believe a medical event may have caused her to lose control.

A medical helicopter was requested but unable to fly due to weather, and the victim was transported by ambulance to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah with life-threatening injuries.

US 45 was closed between County Highway T and County Highway W for about 45 minutes as crews responded. The crash remains under investigation.
