TALLAHASSEE, FL – North Florida will see warm and sunny conditions Wednesday before clouds roll in, bringing a chance of showers by nightfall. Temperatures will reach a high of 79°F during the day before cooling to the upper 40s overnight.

According to the National Weather Service, there is a 40% chance of rain after 2 a.m. Thursday, with a weak cold front moving through the region. Winds will remain light but shift from variable to southerly at 5 mph.

Thursday marks the official start of spring, and while the day will begin with a 50% chance of showers, skies should clear in the afternoon with a high near 70°F.

Looking ahead, Friday will be sunny with a high of 69°F before another cool night in the low 40s. The weekend is set to be pleasant, with sunny skies and highs in the mid-70s. By Sunday night, a 20% chance of rain returns, followed by a 60% chance of showers and thunderstorms Monday.
