Tallahassee, FL – Drivers in North Florida face hazardous conditions early Monday as a Dense Fog Advisory remains in effect until 10 a.m. The National Weather Service warns that visibility could drop below a quarter mile, especially on major highways and rural roads.
According to the National Weather Service in Tallahassee, the advisory affects portions of the Big Bend and Panhandle regions, including Tallahassee, Quincy, and Bainbridge. Commuters should use headlights, slow down, and allow extra travel time.
Monday will clear up with mostly sunny skies and highs near 78°F. Tuesday brings partly sunny conditions with a high of 75°F, followed by increasing cloud cover into the night. A 40% chance of showers arrives early Wednesday morning, with temperatures peaking at 79°F before a higher chance of storms on Thursday.
Drivers along I-10 and US-319 should prepare for dense fog early, with wet roads expected midweek. Stay updated on changing conditions and allow for safe travel adjustments throughout the week.
