According to the US National Weather Service, a tropical wave east of the Leeward Islands has a 60% chance of developing into a tropical depression by the end of the week. This system could affect the Greater Antilles, the Bahamas, and the southeastern United States.
Wednesday’s forecast includes a 40% chance of storms with temperatures reaching 93°F. By Thursday, conditions will slightly improve with a high of 94°F and partly cloudy skies. However, the stormy weather returns on Friday with a 35% chance of rain and temperatures remaining around 94°F.
The weekend outlook is consistent, with a 35% chance of rain on Saturday and highs of 93°F. Sunday will see a 40% chance of thunderstorms and temperatures around 92°F. The trend continues into next week, with Monday’s forecast showing a high of 91°F and a 40% chance of rain.
