Tampa, FL – A dense fog advisory remains in effect until 9 a.m. across southwest and west-central Florida, creating hazardous driving conditions. Motorists should slow down, use headlights, and allow extra travel time.

According to the National Weather Service in Tampa Bay, visibility is reduced to a quarter-mile or less due to thick fog. Areas including Tampa, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Sarasota, and Bradenton are affected. The fog is expected to clear mid-morning as temperatures rise.

Tuesday’s forecast brings mostly sunny skies with highs near 81°F and light winds shifting southwest. Nighttime temperatures will drop to the low 60s under partly cloudy skies.

Looking ahead, the five-day forecast shows sunny conditions persisting, with highs reaching 82°F through Friday. Winds will remain calm, shifting slightly from the southwest later in the week.

Residents should remain cautious on roads this morning and expect improving conditions by midday. For real-time updates, check local forecasts before traveling.
