TALLAHASSEE, FL – Dense fog is expected to impact visibility across Tallahassee overnight into Monday morning before warmer temperatures and sunshine return for the week. Motorists should use caution, especially during early morning hours, as fog could reduce visibility below a quarter mile in some areas.

According to the National Weather Service, patchy dense fog will linger until 10 a.m. Monday before giving way to mostly sunny skies and a high near 78°F. Winds will be light, shifting northeast by the evening. Monday night will remain mostly clear, with a low near 59°F.

Tuesday and Wednesday will see continued warm temperatures, with highs in the mid-to-upper 70s and partly sunny skies. However, by Wednesday night, a 30% chance of showers moves into the region, increasing to 40% on Thursday with a possible thunderstorm.

Drivers along I-10 and local roads should expect delays due to foggy conditions Monday morning. Residents are advised to allow extra travel time and use low-beam headlights. As conditions improve, Tallahassee will enjoy a stretch of warmer, drier weather before midweek rain chances increase.
