Kankakee, IL – Kankakee County Animal Control will host its last dog microchip clinic of the year at the Kankakee Farmers’ Market this Saturday. The event runs from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., offering pet owners a convenient way to protect their dogs.
According to Kankakee County Animal Control, the cost for the service is $15 per dog, and only cash will be accepted. Participants are asked to bring a photo ID, and only dogs will be microchipped at this event.
The clinic aims to increase the number of microchipped dogs in the county, enhancing the chances of reunification if a dog goes missing. Pet owners can visit the Farmers’ Market for this quick and affordable service while enjoying the local market offerings.
