Fatal Pedestrian Crash in Somers, Kenosha County

Somers, WI – A fatal vehicle vs. pedestrian crash occurred early Thursday in the 8200 block of CTH-E (12th Street) in Somers. A motorist reported the incident to Kenosha Joint Services 911 around 1:43 AM, stating they had struck a person lying in the road.

According to Sgt. Colin Coultrip, the pedestrian, 33-year-old Anthony Mitchell, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Kenosha County Medical Examiner’s Office. The driver remained on-site and cooperated with investigators. The Kenosha County Major Crash Assistance Team assisted with the investigation.
