
Tickfaw, LA – A tragic multi-vehicle crash on LA Hwy 1064 in Tangipahoa Parish claimed the life of 31-year-old Brandon Scott McAlister of Denham Springs. The crash occurred on October 27, 2024, at around 11:00 a.m., involving two Harley-Davidson motorcycles and a Toyota Corolla.
Investigators reported that McAlister was traveling westbound on his 2005 Harley-Davidson, followed by a 2021 Harley-Davidson motorcycle in the same lane. At the same time, a Toyota Corolla slowed and turned left near the intersection of LA Hwy 1064 and Addison Road, leading to a collision. McAlister’s motorcycle struck the rear of the Corolla, ejecting him upon impact. The second Harley-Davidson then struck McAlister’s bike, ejecting its driver as well.
Though McAlister wore a DOT-approved helmet, he suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The second motorcyclist sustained moderate injuries, while the Corolla driver remained unharmed, passing a breathalyzer test with 0.000% BAC.
