Williams County, ND – A truck driver was killed Thursday night after colliding with a cow on 69th St. NW. The incident occurred at approximately 10:53 p.m. when a 1991 Kenworth Straight Truck encountered a cow in the road.

According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the driver braked and swerved left, but the truck struck the cow and rolled after veering off the road. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The Highway Patrol reported that the driver was not wearing a seatbelt. The owner of the livestock has been identified.

The crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine further details surrounding the accident. The North Dakota Highway Patrol is expected to release more information in the coming days. No other injuries were reported.
