La Crosse, WI – Frigid temperatures are expected across La Crosse and surrounding areas as Arctic air settles in for the week. Wind chills will make it feel as cold as -30°F, creating hazardous conditions for residents.

According to the National Weather Service, a Cold Weather Advisory is in effect through Monday morning. Monday’s high will reach only 4°F, with wind chill values as low as -24°F. Tuesday will be slightly warmer, but wind chills will still hover around -30°F in the morning.

Looking Ahead:

Monday: Cold and sunny, high of 4°F.

Tuesday: High of 5°F, partly cloudy.

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy, high of 7°F.

Thursday: High of 15°F, some clearing.

Friday: Slightly warmer, high of 18°F.

With dangerously low wind chills, frostbite can set in quickly. Wear proper winter clothing and check on vulnerable neighbors.
