Hardy Lake, IN – The Friends of Hardy Lake are inviting nature enthusiasts to a series of all-you-can-eat breakfast events throughout 2024, with proceeds going to support the Dwight Chamberlain Raptor Center. This monthly event offers a unique opportunity to enjoy a hearty breakfast while getting up close with live birds of prey on exhibit during the breakfast hours. The breakfasts will be held from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM, with a modest fee of $8 for adults and $3 for children aged 3-12. Children under 3 can attend for free.

The breakfast events will coincide with significant dates, such as Memorial Day Weekend and Independence Day Weekend, offering visitors a chance to support wildlife conservation efforts while enjoying the beauty of Hardy Lake. Special events like “Rumble for the Raptors Car Show” and “Owl-O-Ween” add a festive twist to the experience.

According to the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, these events provide essential funds to maintain and enhance the Raptor Center’s efforts in rescuing and rehabilitating birds of prey. Friends of Hardy Lake are always seeking new members to help protect and preserve Indiana’s natural and recreational resources. Join them for breakfast, and contribute to a worthy cause.
