Elmhurst Bank Robbery: Police Ask for Public’s Help in Suspect ID

Elmhurst, IL – Police are seeking public assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a bank robbery.

According to the Elmhurst Police Department, the robbery took place on June 13 at 3:25 p.m. at the US Bank on 536 S. York Street. The suspect is described as a male in his 20s, approximately 6 feet tall, with an average build. He was last seen wearing a gray face mask, dark baseball cap, black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and carrying a dark blue backpack. The suspect fled the scene armed with a handgun.
