Pittsburgh, PA – The Pittsburgh area will experience a warm and sunny Thursday, with temperatures rising into the mid-80s. Today marks the last dry day before rain chances increase heading into the weekend. Temperatures are expected to climb by an additional 3-4 degrees compared to yesterday, reaching highs of around 86°F under plentiful sunshine.

According to the National Weather Service in Pittsburgh, rain is forecasted to return Friday, with continued warm temperatures in the mid-80s. Saturday brings a 50% chance of showers and thunderstorms, as temperatures hover around 84°F. By Sunday, the rain will persist, with cooler temperatures expected, reaching only 76°F.

Looking ahead to next week, Monday and Tuesday will remain cool, with highs in the low 70s and continued rain showers expected on Monday. Wednesday and Thursday will see a slight warm-up, with temperatures reaching the mid to upper 70s under partly sunny skies. The air quality index is currently moderate at 98, which is slightly worse than previous days but still manageable for outdoor activities.
