
St. Louis, MO – Missouri residents can expect a brief warm-up today as temperatures climb to the mid-80s, but cooler conditions are on the horizon. A cold front will move through the region, bringing below-normal temperatures for the weekend.
According to the National Weather Service in St. Louis, today’s high will reach around 85°F under partly cloudy skies, with a slight chance of scattered sprinkles in central and northeast Missouri. Overnight lows will drop to the mid-60s, accompanied by mostly cloudy skies.
On Friday, temperatures will begin to cool, with highs only reaching the upper 70s. The cooler trend will continue into Saturday, with highs again in the upper 70s and lows dipping to the upper 50s. The weather remains dry for most of the region, with only a few scattered showers possible over central and southeast Missouri on Sunday, when highs will slightly rebound to the low 80s.
Looking ahead, early next week will see continued mild temperatures, with highs in the upper 70s to low 80s and partly cloudy conditions. This shift from the warm summer weather offers a reprieve as cooler autumn-like temperatures start to make their presence felt across the state.
