East L.A., California – Drivers across East Los Angeles may encounter reduced visibility and slick roadways through Thursday morning as patchy drizzle and dense fog linger across the region.

According to the National Weather Service in Los Angeles/Oxnard, light drizzle and fog will persist overnight and into Wednesday and Thursday mornings, with the thickest fog expected before 11 a.m. each day. High temperatures will hover in the upper 60s, with calm to light southwest winds between 5 and 10 mph.

Morning commuters should use caution on surface streets and freeways like the I-710 and I-5, where fog and drizzle could make for slippery conditions. Pedestrians are also urged to wear reflective clothing and use extra care near intersections during early hours. This pattern marks a typical spring marine layer event for the region but may catch some early risers off guard.

By Thursday afternoon, conditions are expected to gradually clear, leading into a dry and mostly sunny weekend. Winds may gust as high as 15 mph Thursday evening, adding to potential driving hazards.

Patchy fog may return again late Sunday, but clearer skies and warming temperatures are forecast into early next week.
