Drone Helps Eugene Police Capture Fugitive Wanted by US Marshals After Pursuit

Eugene, OR – Deputies arrested two suspects after a pursuit in Eugene on Wednesday, leading to a foot chase and drone-assisted capture.

Kristopher Robert Glenn, 38, of Veneta, was spotted by Lane County deputies shortly after midnight in a vehicle near W. 18th Avenue. The driver, Elise Catrina Lockwood, 33, attempted to flee officers but stopped the car near Bertelsen Road. Glenn ran from the vehicle while deputies and Eugene police set a perimeter.

A Eugene Springfield Metro drone operator helped locate Glenn, who surrendered without further resistance. Lockwood was arrested without incident.

According to the Lane County Sheriff’s Office, both suspects had methamphetamine. Glenn also had a realistic-looking pellet gun.

Lockwood faces multiple charges, including reckless driving and possession of methamphetamine. Glenn faces charges for drug possession, firearm-related offenses, and multiple warrants, including failure to appear and a parole violation.

Both suspects were booked into Lane County Jail on their respective charges.
