Hill, NH — A 36-year-old man was killed early Thursday in a single-vehicle crash on Route 3A in Hill.
New Hampshire State Police responded to the crash at 12:49 a.m. near High Ridge Road. Authorities found a white 2003 Mitsubishi FE639 box truck off the roadway and down an embankment, stopped at a tree line.
According to investigators, the driver and sole occupant, Michael Kaar of Hill, was pronounced dead at the scene. Preliminary findings suggest speed was a primary factor in the crash.
Route 3A was shut down for one hour, with partial closures for three hours, while crews from the Bristol Police Department, Hill Fire Department, and other agencies cleared the scene.

Local residents expressed concerns over frequent speeding on Route 3A. Drivers are urged to use caution in the area.
