Denver, CO – Mild weather will dominate Colorado this week, with sunny days and clear, chilly nights in most areas. High temperatures across the Denver area will range from the upper 50s to low 60s through Saturday, while nighttime lows will dip into the upper 20s, according to the National Weather Service.

Forecasters expect dry, pleasant conditions through Friday, ideal for outdoor activities or holiday errands. However, significant changes are on the horizon by late Sunday, when a system could bring rain and snow to the region. Residents are urged to monitor forecasts as the weekend approaches, particularly if planning travel through mountain passes or foothills.

In the mountain valleys, temperatures will be cooler, ranging from highs in the 40s to lows in the teens. Winds will remain light, but nighttime travelers should prepare for subfreezing conditions. The foothills can expect daytime highs in the 50s with lows around 25 to 35 degrees, while the plains will enjoy slightly warmer days reaching the low 60s.

Looking ahead, Wednesday and Thursday will bring abundant sunshine, with highs around 63 in Denver. Nights will remain mostly clear, with lows near 28. Friday’s forecast includes continued sunny skies and daytime highs of 57, but colder air begins moving in Saturday night.

By Sunday, rain showers could turn into snow as temperatures drop, especially in higher elevations. Travelers heading along I-70 or through Jefferson and Boulder counties should prepare for potential slick roads.
