Wilmington, DE – Two men were arrested this week in connection with an armed robbery outside a Wilmington liquor store last week.
Police say Eric McDuffie, 32, of New Castle, and Jamir Graham, 27, of Wilmington, allegedly approached a man in the parking lot of Hi-Way Inn Liquors on Governor Printz Boulevard around midnight on January 10. The suspects reportedly pointed a gun at the victim and demanded his property.
According to the Delaware State Police, the victim complied and handed over his belongings. However, just before fleeing in a dark SUV, the suspects returned the stolen items to the victim.
Detectives identified the suspects as McDuffie and Graham through investigative leads. Officers located and arrested them on January 16, charging both with multiple crimes.
McDuffie faces charges including first-degree robbery and possession of a firearm during a felony. He is being held on a $44,000 secured bond. Both suspects remain in custody at Howard R. Young Correctional Institution.
Authorities continue investigating the incident.
