Dearborn, MI – A 15-year-old Fordson High School student was critically injured Friday morning in a vehicle-pedestrian accident near Ford and Schaefer Roads.
According to the Dearborn Police Department, the collision occurred shortly after 7:35 a.m. when a westbound black Jeep Cherokee struck the teen. Emergency responders provided immediate aid, and the victim was transported to a nearby hospital. The student’s condition remains critical.
Police Chief Issa Shahin extended thoughts to the victim’s family, students, and staff at Fordson High School, urging drivers to remain vigilant on the roads. Grief counseling will be available for affected students and staff.
