Davenport Motorcycle Passenger Critically Injured in Crash With Car on May 26, 2025

Davenport, IA – A motorcycle passenger suffered life-threatening injuries following a serious crash late Monday night at a busy Davenport intersection.

According to the Davenport Police Department, officers were dispatched at approximately 10:19 p.m. to a collision at the intersection of West 49th Street and North Pine Street. The crash reportedly involved a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle.

Upon arrival, officers found the motorcycle’s driver had sustained serious injuries, while the passenger was critically injured. Emergency medical personnel transported both individuals to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Three occupants in the involved passenger vehicle sustained minor injuries, police said. The incident remains under investigation by the Davenport Police Department’s Traffic Safety Unit. No additional details have been released.
