Danville, IL – A 51-year-old Danville woman was shot Saturday afternoon while walking through a parking lot on North Bowman Avenue, according to police.
The Danville Police Department stated the incident occurred around 3:15 p.m. The woman was transported by ambulance to a local hospital, where she was admitted and is in stable condition.
Authorities said they are pursuing multiple leads and are working with witnesses from the community to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
