Fort Worth, TX – Residents in the Dallas-Fort Worth area are in for a sweltering start to the week as triple-digit temperatures are forecast to persist through Wednesday. The National Weather Service (NWS) in Fort Worth has issued a heat advisory, warning that heat indices could climb as high as 110°F.

According to the NWS, temperatures are expected to reach 104°F on Sunday with heat indices peaking at 110°F. Monday will bring slightly cooler but still dangerous conditions with highs around 103°F and heat indices near 109°F. The heat continues into Tuesday, with a forecasted high of 102°F and indices reaching 106°F.

Relief is anticipated midweek, as a slight cool-down is expected by Wednesday. Temperatures could dip to 98°F, with heat indices still in the triple digits at 105°F. However, the cooling trend will likely bring some respite as highs may drop to the mid-90s by Thursday.
