The National Weather Service in Corpus Christi has issued warnings about the heat risk, which will moderate slightly into early next week but remain significant. The weekend will see daytime highs between 90°F and 105°F, with nighttime lows ranging from 75°F to 85°F, offering minimal relief.

Sunday through Tuesday, temperatures are expected to peak between 90°F and 100°F. Heat index values during this period will continue to exceed 100°F, pushing up to 112°F in some areas. These conditions pose health risks, particularly for vulnerable populations.
