Corpus Christi, Texas – High temperatures in Corpus Christi are expected to hover near 98°F through Tuesday, with only slight chances for rain offering minimal relief from the July heat.

According to the National Weather Service in Corpus Christi, daily highs between 89°F and 98°F will dominate the forecast through early next week. Rain chances will remain low, ranging from just 5% to 25% each day, including on Independence Day. Overnight lows will stay warm and muggy, between 72°F and 80°F.

The hottest days are expected Monday and Tuesday, when inland areas could push close to 100°F under partly sunny skies. Residents should limit outdoor activities during peak heat hours, stay hydrated, and check on elderly neighbors and pets. UV indexes will remain high, making sunscreen and shade essential for anyone spending time outdoors.

Despite slight rain chances across the region — including Kingsville, Beeville, and Victoria — the Corpus Christi metro area will see mostly dry skies. No significant tropical activity is expected in the western Gulf at this time.

The heat is expected to persist into midweek, with little change in conditions. More heat advisories could be issued if humidity levels climb.
