Colorado residents will experience a mix of winter and spring weather this weekend, with snow lingering in the mountains and warm temperatures returning to the plains. A storm system will continue to bring snow and wind across higher elevations through Friday night, while cities like Pueblo and Grand Junction will see improving conditions by Saturday. As the state transitions into spring, temperatures could reach the mid-60s in some areas by Sunday.

According to the National Weather Service, the highest snowfall totals—up to 18 inches—will accumulate in the San Juan Mountains. Light snow showers may linger in some central and eastern areas early Saturday before clearing skies take over. In Pueblo, gusty winds and a chance of snow showers will impact travel on I-25 through Friday night, but sunny conditions will return by Saturday afternoon with highs near 49°F. Grand Junction will stay mostly sunny and reach 55°F on Saturday.

Sunday will feel more like spring across Colorado, with widespread sunshine and highs in the 60s. Grand Junction could hit 66°F, while Pueblo is expected to warm to 72°F. This warmup coincides with Daylight Saving Time—residents should set their clocks forward one hour early Sunday morning.

Looking ahead, Monday and Tuesday remain dry and warm, but another storm system could bring rain and snow midweek. Stay updated with the latest forecasts and prepare for shifting conditions.
