Denver, Colorado – Light rain and cloudy skies will dominate the Front Range today, keeping temperatures cool and visibility low for morning commuters.

According to the National Weather Service in Boulder, Friday will remain overcast with occasional drizzle or weak showers throughout the day, especially in and around Boulder, Greeley, and Fort Collins. A few stronger showers may develop this afternoon over the northern foothills, including Estes Park and Nederland.

Highs will struggle to reach the low 50s along the I-25 corridor, with cooler readings in the 40s near higher elevations such as Evergreen and Black Hawk. Roads will remain slick in spots due to intermittent drizzle, but no major flooding or accumulation is expected. Drivers should use caution on wet roads, particularly in shaded or hilly areas.

While today stays damp, warmer and sunnier conditions are expected to return by Saturday across much of the state. No additional alerts are currently in place, but residents should monitor for any changes in afternoon shower activity.
