Colorado Weather: Afternoon Thunderstorms and High Winds

Denver, CO – Colorado residents can expect somewhat drier and warmer weather today, with scattered late-day showers and thunderstorms primarily in the mountains and foothills.

According to the US National Weather Service Denver/Boulder, scattered afternoon and evening thunderstorms are anticipated in these regions. The storms are expected to produce gusty outflow winds reaching up to 45 mph, adding to the potentially hazardous conditions.

The forecast also indicates that today will be drier overall, with slightly warmer temperatures compared to previous days. High temperatures are predicted to reach the upper 80s and lower 90s across much of the state, with some areas even hitting the mid-90s.
