Dallas, TX – A cold front will grip North Texas early Saturday, bringing freezing temperatures before a steady warm-up through early next week.

Overnight lows Friday will drop to 27°F, with wind chill values making it feel even colder. Saturday morning will be frigid, with wind chills in the teens. However, sunshine will help temperatures rebound to 50°F by the afternoon. A slight chance of showers is possible late Saturday night, but no major rain is expected.

By Sunday, the warm-up continues, with highs reaching 62°F under mostly sunny skies. Monday will feel like a different season as temperatures climb to 73°F, followed by highs in the mid-70s Tuesday and Wednesday.

Drivers should watch for possible slick spots on bridges and overpasses early Saturday, but road conditions will improve as temperatures rise. Residents should dress in layers, as mornings will be cold, but afternoons will be much more comfortable.

With the weather shifting quickly, it’s a good time to prepare for changing conditions. Warmer temperatures mean a great weekend for outdoor activities before another potential cool-down later next week.
