According to the National Weather Service, residents in Wilmington and Belville should anticipate rain beginning after 2 p.m. Monday, with a 30% chance of precipitation. Southwest winds will increase throughout the day, reaching sustained speeds of 18 mph and gusts up to 34 mph. The high temperature is expected to reach 75°F.
Monday night will see diminishing rain chances, dropping to 20%, with skies becoming mostly cloudy and a low near 52°F. Winds will ease slightly overnight, staying between 3 to 7 mph.
While rainfall amounts are expected to be light, the wind gusts may affect outdoor activities, unsecured objects, and travel—particularly on bridges and open roads. No watches or warnings have been issued, but residents are advised to remain weather-aware.
