According to the National Weather Service, Tuesday will see cooler conditions near the lake with temperatures ranging from 87 to 91 degrees Fahrenheit. The chance of thunderstorms is 20-40%, mainly in the afternoon and evening hours. By Wednesday, the humidity will increase with morning precipitation likely. Temperatures are forecasted to remain between 87 and 91 degrees with a 40-60% chance of storms.
Thursday will bring very humid conditions with temperatures between 86 and 89 degrees and a higher probability of thunderstorms, ranging from 50-70%. Heavy rain is possible early Thursday morning, potentially impacting morning commutes. Storm chances will persist into Thursday afternoon and evening.
The heat index on Wednesday and Thursday is projected to reach 100-105°F, particularly south of I-80, depending on the timing and coverage of the thunderstorms. Cooler conditions are expected near the lake on Friday with temperatures ranging from 80 to 83 degrees and a 40-60% chance of storms.
