Chicago, IL – A fast-food favorite is taking its place at the starting line of one of Chicago’s biggest summer events.
Arby’s has been named the newest Founding Partner of the 2025 NASCAR Chicago Street Race, joining a high-profile lineup that includes Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois and Xfinity’s Xumo brand. The race returns to Grant Park on July 5-6.
According to NASCAR officials, the partnership highlights Arby’s growing investment in motorsports. The brand is already a primary sponsor for Rick Ware Racing and driver Cody Ware in the NASCAR Cup Series, and now it will have a strong presence throughout the Chicago Street Race Weekend, with branded activations, local restaurant sweepstakes, and an appearance by Ware.
“This is a milestone moment for both Arby’s and NASCAR,” said Craig Stimmel, NASCAR’s chief commercial officer. “Their involvement reinforces the momentum surrounding the Chicago Street Race.”
The partnership also brings a marketing boost to Arby’s 47 Chicago-area locations, where customers can enter to win race tickets through an exclusive sweepstakes. Arby’s branding will appear on Ware’s No. 51 Ford Mustang, and the company is promising fan-focused surprises during race weekend.
“Arby’s is thrilled to bring our flavor and energy to this one-of-a-kind race experience,” said Jeff Baker, chief marketing officer at Arby’s. “We’re ready to serve up excitement in Grant Park this July.”
The Chicago Street Race will again feature top-tier competition as part of the NASCAR Cup and Xfinity Series, with a shortened construction schedule and reduced ticket pricing aimed at broadening accessibility. Grounds Pass tickets start at $123.08, while reserved seating has seen price cuts of nearly 50% compared to 2024.
