Cherokee County, GA – Detectives are asking for the public’s help as they continue investigating a robbery that occurred earlier this year at a laundromat near Acworth.
According to the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, the robbery occurred in February 2026 at a laundromat located in unincorporated Cherokee County near Acworth. During the incident, authorities said cash was taken from the victim.
Investigators recently released surveillance images of the person believed to be connected to the robbery. Officials acknowledged the images are of poor quality but hope someone in the community will recognize the individual or have information that could assist the investigation.
The sheriff’s office has not released additional details about the circumstances of the robbery or identified a suspect.
