Wenatchee, WA – A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for much of north-central and northeastern Washington through late Monday morning, with several mountain passes expecting significant snowfall and reduced visibility, according to the National Weather Service in Spokane.

Forecasters report that elevations above 3,000 feet will see 2 to 6 inches of snow, while higher peaks such as Mission Ridge could receive up to 18 inches. Holden Village, Blewett Pass, Stevens Pass, and Loup Loup Pass are among the hardest-hit areas. In Idaho, Lookout Pass will see lighter but still impactful snow, with an additional inch expected overnight.

Travelers are urged to use caution on mountain routes and expect slippery, snow-covered roads. The weather service warns that wind chills in the teens and gusty mountain winds could make travel and outdoor activity dangerous for those unprepared.

Drivers should check WSDOT and Idaho 511 before heading into the mountains.
