CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Halloween is quickly approaching, and the holiday offers more than just trick-or-treating in the neighborhood. Here are five adult Halloween parties and pub crawls to check out this season.
The Upscale Annual Halloween Costume Party
This event is for ages 30 and up and will feature live music from DJ Stacey Blackman. Drinks will be available for purchase.
The party takes place from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. Nov. 1 at Midtown Tavern. Early bird admission is $10 per person; tickets are $20 at the door.
Rich & Bennett’s 24th Annual Halloween Pub Crawl
Charlotte’s first-ever bar crawl returns for its 24th year, teaming up with more than 25 local bars. The event includes several activities, such as a costume contest with raffle prizes. A portion of proceeds will benefit local charities.
The crawl runs from 1 to 10 p.m. Oct. 25. Admission starts at $13 per person. Drinks can be purchased separately, with prices ranging from $10 to $25.
Queen City Halloween Costume Party
Located at Blush CLT, this event welcomes guests 21 and older. The party will feature live music, dancing, and drink specials starting at $5.
The event takes place on Halloween night, Oct. 31. Doors open at 9:30 p.m., and the party runs from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. Admission is free.
2025 Official Halloween Bar Crawl
Open to ages 21 and older, this bar crawl spans six venues, including Tattoo’z N Boo’z Nightclub, XOXO Nightclub and The Local. Costumes are encouraged but not required.
The crawl will be held Oct. 25, Oct. 31, and Nov. 1. Friday hours are 6 to 11 p.m., and Saturday hours are 3 to 11 p.m. Admission starts at $16 per person.
Booo Bash Halloween Party
This 21-and-up event includes music, drinks, and dancing throughout the night. Attendees can participate in a costume contest and raffles.
The party will be held from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. Oct. 25. Admission starts at $16 per person.
