Channahon, IL – Authorities are actively searching for a missing man, Mariano Kotbra, who was last seen on April 9th, 2025. The Minooka Police Department confirmed that Kotbra was last observed at approximately 2:51 p.m. at an ACE Hardware on Ridge Road in Channahon. At the time, he was wearing a blue polo shirt, a black zip-up jacket, and khaki pants.
According to the Minooka Police Department, Kotbra’s last known location was in the area of McLindon Road and Cemetery Road in Channahon. As a result, law enforcement has increased their presence in the region, particularly near the I&M canal towpath close to Hansel Road, where multiple agencies are working together to locate him. Authorities are urging the public to avoid the area to allow emergency personnel to conduct their search effectively.
The police are asking anyone with information on Kotbra’s whereabouts or any related details to contact them at (815) 467-2161 or to visit the police station to speak with an officer.
