Champaign, IL – A free dental clinic for children is scheduled at Parkland College on February 1 from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The clinic, sponsored by the Illini District Dental Society, aims to provide essential care to low-income families.

According to the Champaign-Urbana Public Health District, children aged 1-17 can receive dental exams, cleanings, and fluoride treatments. Educational activities are also planned to promote oral health awareness. The event will take place at the Dental Hygiene Clinic located at 2400 West Bradley Avenue, accessible via the 180 Lime B MTD line.

Organizers emphasize that no appointments are required. Families can simply attend the event to ensure their children receive vital dental care. The clinic is part of the nationwide “Give Kids a Smile Day” initiative.

This opportunity aims to address disparities in dental care while fostering long-term health. Families are invited to attend and help their children start February with brighter smiles.
