State College, PA – A strong chance of thunderstorms will roll into central Pennsylvania by mid-afternoon Sunday, July 20, bringing wet roads and potential travel delays along U.S. Route 322 and surrounding highways. Rain chances increase to 60% by 2 p.m., with possible lightning and brief downpours disrupting outdoor plans.

According to the National Weather Service, showers and a few thunderstorms could develop as early as late Sunday morning, but the most active weather is expected between 2 and 8 p.m. Sunday.
