According to the US National Weather Service Indianapolis, the advisory is in place from 5 AM to 4 PM, affecting areas generally north of I-70. As remnants of Beryl exit, gusty conditions are anticipated to persist throughout the day. Residents should secure outdoor objects that could be easily blown away and be prepared for potential power outages and difficult driving conditions, especially for high-profile vehicles.
The forecast for today predicts a mix of rain and wind with temperatures ranging from 73°F to 82°F. Warmer temperatures are expected to return on Thursday and Friday, with highs reaching 86°F and 88°F, respectively, although there is still a chance of thunderstorms.
Looking ahead, the weekend will see continued warmth with Saturday and Sunday highs approaching 87°F and 91°F. Clear skies are expected to dominate the start of next week, with temperatures soaring to the mid-90s by Monday and Tuesday.
