Indianapolis, IN – Central Indiana residents should prepare for a weekend of mixed weather conditions, with areas southwest of I-74 expected to see heavy rainfall starting Friday night. Temperatures will cool, with highs dropping into the upper 70s by Saturday. Meanwhile, regions northeast of I-74 will likely stay dry with partly sunny skies.
According to the National Weather Service, clouds will increase today, with rain beginning overnight, especially for areas southwest of I-74. Indianapolis will experience temperatures in the mid-80s today before cooler weather and potential storms roll in Friday night. Up to an inch of rain is possible in affected areas, particularly near Vincennes by Saturday.
