On Tuesday, temperatures are forecasted to range from 86-93°F, with the heat index again climbing to 105°F. The cold front’s arrival will likely bring isolated showers and storms, particularly in eastern Illinois, during the afternoon and evening. By Wednesday, residents can anticipate a cooler day with temperatures between 78-82°F and cloudy skies in the morning, gradually clearing by afternoon.

Thursday and Friday will see mostly sunny conditions, with temperatures between 81-85°F and 80-85°F respectively. This shift marks a significant change from the oppressive heat earlier in the week.
