Cedar Hill, MO – A Cedar Hill man was arrested this morning after allegedly harassing neighbors and threatening deputies. Mark A. Delbrook, 58, is in custody without bond on charges of 1st-degree harassment.
Authorities say the harassment incidents occurred earlier this month, leading to a warrant for Delbrook’s arrest on October 19. Deputies received a tip that Delbrook had left his home, prompting a traffic stop near Highway 30 and Executive Parkway. Delbrook reportedly refused to cooperate with deputies’ commands.
Additional deputies, SWAT units, and Crisis Intervention Specialists were called to the scene as a precaution. The Sheriff’s Office closed Highway 30 in both directions during the incident to ensure public safety.
Delbrook is also accused of recently making threats toward law enforcement. SWAT operators used a disorienting device to safely apprehend him. No shots were fired, and authorities recovered a loaded handgun and additional magazines from Delbrook’s vehicle.
He was taken to a local hospital for evaluation and is expected to be booked at the Jefferson County Jail. Sheriff Dave Marshak expressed gratitude to the Missouri State Highway Patrol and Byrnes Mill Police for their assistance with traffic control.
