According to the National Weather Service in Albany, rain chances will rise to 45–55% by 6 a.m. Saturday across cities like Gloversville, Herkimer, and Poughkeepsie, with the highest risk of precipitation lasting through noon. While no widespread flooding is expected, light showers could reduce visibility on roadways like I-87 and Route 7 during the morning commute.
Temperatures will dip into the low 50s Saturday morning and may not exceed the mid-60s in most locations. Albany is forecast to hit just 66°F Saturday afternoon, while Whitehall and Cobleskill will linger in the upper 50s. Brattleboro, Bennington, and the Adirondack foothills may see even cooler conditions.
While Sunday looks drier with only isolated rain chances (25–30%), clouds and moderate humidity will linger. Residents planning outdoor events should prepare for damp grounds and intermittent drizzle, especially in the early morning hours.
More showers are possible late Sunday into Monday, though probabilities remain below 30% for most of the region.
