Logansport, IN — A Logansport man was seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon on US 35 near US 24.
According to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, Kristopher Weeks, 50, was driving a 2002 Ford F-150 when he veered off the road, striking a tree and several objects before the truck caught fire. Emergency responders extricated Weeks from the vehicle, and he was airlifted to Eskenazi Hospital in Indianapolis with serious injuries.
Officials noted Weeks was wearing a seatbelt, which helped reduce his injuries. The crash remains under investigation by the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.
