San Francisco, CA – A string of clear, sunny days is bringing welcome spring warmth to the Bay Area, with highs nearing 70°F by Saturday.

According to the National Weather Service, Thursday will start the trend with highs around 62°F and plenty of sunshine. Winds will remain mild, shifting west to northwest at 5 to 8 mph by afternoon. Clear skies will continue into Thursday night with lows dipping to the upper 40s.

Expect roadways like U.S. Highway 101 and I-280 to remain dry, making for smooth travel through the weekend. Drivers should still watch for gusty winds during the day, especially on bridges and near the coast.

By Friday, highs climb to 67°F, and by Saturday, San Francisco could reach a spring peak of 70°F under cloudless skies. The city’s neighborhoods from the Mission District to the Marina will feel the warming trend. Nights will remain cool, with lows in the upper 40s and low 50s.

Sunday holds the best chance for change, with cloudy skies and a slight chance of rain returning. Still, highs should hold near 70°F. Monday and Tuesday bring a return to sun, with highs in the mid to upper 60s.
