According to the National Weather Service, Burlington will see highs around 67 degrees today, with winds from the south at 16 to 18 mph and gusts up to 28 mph. Tonight, clouds will linger, bringing lows around 56 and slightly calmer south winds at 10 to 13 mph.

Thursday’s forecast calls for sunny skies and even warmer temperatures, with a high near 75, making it an ideal day for outdoor activities. However, by Thursday night, a 40-70% chance of showers and possible thunderstorms is expected, signaling a transition to cooler, more seasonal weather by Friday. Temperatures will drop to a low of 55 Thursday night as the rain moves in.

On Friday, highs will be closer to 64 degrees, with a 30% chance of lingering showers in the morning, and temperatures will dip further into the weekend. Saturday will bring sunny skies but cooler highs around 47, and by Saturday night, lows will fall to 31 degrees under partly cloudy skies. Sunday’s high will reach only 52 degrees, indicating a return to more typical autumn temperatures.
