Bourbonnais Police Swiftly Arrest Man for Gun-related Charges in Disturbance

BOURBONNAIS, IL – Police responded promptly to a distress call on Sunday afternoon, resulting in the arrest of Fredrick Ellis Junior, 26, of Hopkins Park. 

The incident occurred around 2:30 p.m. in the 300 block of South Latham Drive during a heated argument.

According to reports, a man reported that Ellis had pulled out a firearm during their dispute. Bourbonnais Police wasted no time and swiftly apprehended Ellis on multiple gun-related charges including Aggravated Assault with a Loaded Firearm.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported during this intense altercation. Ellis is now being held at the Jerome Combs Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.

The Bourbonnais Police Department urges anyone with additional information to come forward.
